When I was 16 years old I started arranging for my own vocal group. and since then I continued to arrange for the different choirs I’ve been conducting. Hopefully, I developed more skills over the years.
I have been working as a soloist and ensemble singer for 30 years now and I try to invest a lot of my experiences into the shape of the vocal lines.
The goal is that all the parts (even the altos and basses :)) have melodic and interesting music to sing.
Usually, I try to avoid repetition signs but rather write out an identical section again. I’ve noticed that even professional choirs are struggling with the logistics of jumping back and forth within an otherwise easy score. I always thought that this was an unnecessary waste of rehearsal time.
If you are interested in an arrangement just send me an email and I get back to you. If you want you can also get mp3 files and transpositions .
